One of the most awarded U.S. specialists in dentistry, Prof. Dr. Gregori M. Kurtzman, held in Bucharest on June 3rd, 2011 a theoretical and practical course on “Modern methods in adhesive restorations”. The event, organized by Farmaceutica REMEDIA S.A. and Pentron Clinical, took place ar the Faculty of Dentistry of the University “Titu Maiorescu”, being the expression of the permanent concern of Farmaceutica REMEDIA S.A. to bring in front of the Romanian specialists the latest technology available worldwide in order to meet their effort to improve their skills.

The lecture was structured in two parts, a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical section included general considerations concerning the restoration of the endodontically treated teeth, the presentation of the news in etch materials and considerations regarding the report between endodontics and implants.

In the second part of the lecture, the doctors attended a workshop held in the offices of the dental faculty, where they practiced the methods of direct restoration with second-generation resin and the use of dual outlet composites, all this under the direct supervision of Professor Kurtzman.

Gregori M. Kurtzman is a specialist in Restorative dentistry, Endodontics, removable and fixed prosthetics and Implant surgery, and has over 160 published articles. He is a Professor at the University of Maryland, Department of Endodontics, Prosthetics and Operative Dentistry.
